Women Behind Bars follows Sir Trevor McDonald as he makes his inside two of Indiana’s female prisons, and learns about a world of seduction and manipulation as inmates pick on each other and those who are attempting guard them. He is given unique access to Rockville Penitentiary, the largest female prison in Indiana. He also visits Indiana Women’s Prison, which is home to the some of the most extreme cases.
Episode 1: Trevor meets some of the most dangerous offenders and women who will spend the rest of their life in prison. He beins in the Indiana Women’s Prison, home to around 700 offenders. In the Segregation Unit , he talks to a double murderer who has become the most notorious female offender in the whole state of Indiana. In the main prison areas, the inmates follow a strict regime with three hours of recreation. Trevor talks to Addie Harts, who is serving time for armed robbery.
